It should be noted that AOC's apartment has a gas stove, so maybe there is something to this.

She's gotten a ton done in her life, and has many honors and a lot of educational success. You sound like the ignoramus.

Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School, graduating in 2007.[16] In high school and college, Ocasio-Cortez went by the name of "Sandy Ocasio".[17] She came in second in the microbiology category of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in 2007 with a research project on the effect of antioxidants on the lifespan of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans.[18][19] In a show of appreciation for her efforts, the MIT Lincoln Laboratory named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez.[20][21] In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute's Lorenzo de Zavala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session. On June 26, 2018, Ocasio-Cortez drew national recognition when she won the Democratic Party's primary election for New York's 14th congressional district. She defeated Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley, a 10-term incumbent, in what was widely seen as the biggest upset victory in the 2018 midterm election primaries.[2][3][4] She easily won the November general election, defeating Republican Anthony Pappas. She was reelected in the 2020 election, defeating John Cummings.

Taking office at age 29, Ocasio-Cortez is the youngest woman ever to serve in the United States Congress.[5][6] She has been noted for her substantial social media presence relative to her fellow members of Congress.[7] Ocasio-Cortez attended Boston University, where she double-majored in international relations and economics, graduating cum laude. All that AOC and the government in question have tried to do is inform people like you of the possible dangers involved with gas stoves and offered financial assistance if a persons' choice is to exchange their current gas stove for something else.
