I'm surprised...

I'm surprised that no prestige DVD release of this movie, or of Valentino's "The Eagle," has ever yet come out. Seems like some major distributor, of the likes of Kino, Criterion, MGM Premiere Collection, or Warner Archives, should EAGERLY have done so by now. Regarding this movie, I'd love to see a DVD release of the magnificent restored version with the Carl Davis score.

genplant29; Agreed, I should have recorded it when I had the chance. Not knowing it was not available on any format.

im dying to see this film. I'm a big fan of Rudolph Valentino, and I do believe he still has the charm to have popular re releases of his works. His unmatched charisma is just incredible.

It would be great if they released a Criterion Collection of Rudolph Valentino's films - the best of his best.

I just watched this film and the quality was pretty good actually. I hope I can watch The Eagle soon but I hear the quality of that isn't as preserved.
