rape

I think people assume this to be a film it isn't. Prior to watching this, I was reading on Valentino and many articles kept commenting on the rape scene in both this and the sequel. Well, I just watched it and this has no rape scene whatsoever. Yes, he kidnaps the girl. Yes he forces a kiss on the girl. But that was it. The article even stated that though the rape was not shown, it was alluded to. Nope, not true at all. The rape that wasn't shown but clearly alluded to was on the sequel, definitely not here.

Also, the sequel clearly is in better quality. Rudolph Valentino is quite popular still, won't they remaster both his Sheik films? This film has a sepia color quality to it unlike the sequel that looks infinitely better preserved.
