The Baby

The Baby is not credited in the actors list.Does anyone know who is he was?

I found an article in the Decatur Review dated December 26, 1926, in which it was reported that "eight month old Jerry Craycroft is making a name for himself in the movies. . . . he will be seen a Fox picture, Sunrise, with Janet Gaynor and George O'Brian (sic)"

I did a Social Security Death Index search for a Jerry Craycroft and found that he was born on Apr 3, 1926, Death: 27 Feb 2000.

What did I tell you? Did I exaggerate? Ziggy knows more about George O'Brien and about "Sunrise" than Brownlow, Birchard, and Hulse combined.

Thank you! I was going to post the same question. Coincidentally, the actor died the day after my oldest child was born. The first time I watched this wonderful movie was because I was up all night with her (during her screaming infant stage) and stumbled across it on TV while passing the time.

I love that little baby in the movie. He looked a bit older than 8 months though!
