Ginger Turned Down "His Girl Friday" for This?
IMDB says Ginger turned down the role of Hildy in His Girl Friday to take this one. One wonders if she regretted it. Not that you know at the time which movie is going to become a classic, but I would love to see her take on that role partnered with Cary Grant. This movie was okay, but instantly forgettable.
