Which do you prefer: "Shop Around ... or "In the Good Old Summertime"?
"Shop Around the Corner" was made in 1940 with Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. "In the Good Old Summertime" was made in 1949 with Judy Garland and Van Johnson. So one of those meaningless exercises: do you have a preference for one over the other.
To me they are both excellent, but the musical is more enjoyable for the songs and the presence of Judy Garland.
