Underrated Frank Morgan

I know most people justifiably extol Jimmy Stewart's performance in this film, but God, Frank Morgan was great. He was great in everything, but the poignancy he brings to this film is mangificent. It's sad that the truly great character actors of the golden era are fading from memory. Not just Frank Morgan but Edward Arnold, Sidney Greenstreet, Cuddles Sakel, Guy Kibbee and so many others.

It's very true that Frank Morgan was a big part of this movie and he did a fantastic job. Vintage cinema is always resurfacing in one way or another and a lot of great actors that need to be discovered again get their chance as well.

Stripping under the name Malcolm Sex, I pleased the ladies by any means necessary.

Not to mention Charles Coburn as another of those excellent character actors that are fading away (in the minds of some modern audiences). Their loss, not mine.
