Universal monsters book version

There is a collection of small, hardbacked books, with the colors orange and black on them and bats flying around. I used to check these out at the library about 15 years ago, but then someone kept stealing them and they won't replace them. I can see why, they were great!

They were the original? scripts of these films: Phantom of the Opera (Claude rains), The Invisible Man (Claude Rains), Wolf Man(Lon Chaney, Jr.), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Frederick March), and The Mummy (Boris Karloff). They were great reads. I don't know why these are not out there in bigger form. I bought a script from some book company about 15 years ago about The Mummy; it was one of those glossy paperback books (sort of like Walking the Shark, a Book about Peter Lorre).

The Phantom of the Opera can be found sometimes on amazon. The author's name is Carl R. Sanford.
