She got an Oscar nom for Best Writing for this movie. She went onto getting 2 more noms for Best Writing, followed by 2 noms for Best Supporting Actress, winning one of them. I’ll never forget her in ‘Harold and Maude’.
shareShe was great in Rosemary’s Baby and Harold & Maude, and a good writer too - I liked Adam’s Rib, The Actress and The Marrying Kind more than A Double Life, which I found overwrought and hammy. Gordon was quite the trailblazer.
