The plot of SWN heavily relies on then-available technical means of communication - i.e. delivered and non-delivered letters and of course endless stream of phone calls. Do you think that the bunch of telecommunication technologies emerged recently could enrich the new rendition of SWN?

Nowadays the poor thing would be able to eavesdrop skype multi-person videoconferences, to track GPS coordinates of her hubby's smartphone (a lotta possibilities for product placement here) and to read his emailbox when he forgets to log out.

As for Sally - instead of sneaking she would be hacking...

Perhaps it should be remade as a 3D game

This movie would be hard to remake.

If a remake is done, it would have to be set in the forties, not in contemporary times.
