You don't remake master works of art
Again. you don't see anybody trying to remake the Mona Lisa or the Sistine chapel ceiling. There are plenty of poor to mediocre films to remake. Just accept this magnificent film for what it is and watch it multiple times (which is what makes a truly great film so special) and there will be no need to see an inferior remake.
