I have seen a Black and White version- why is it not listed here?

I see IMdB lists in the technical specs for this film that it is "Colour". I just saw a Black and White version and am wondering if it was later colourized or if there were two different releases at the same time. If it was first a black and white movie, that should be listed.

I don't know why someone would show this in black & white, because it has always been in technicolor. Indeed, the colour schemes play a huge part in it, because the main character is an artist. So, there is no official B&W version of this.

Everyone's getting spanked but me!

You must have seen it on a black and white tv, because this is Technicolor at its best
