Both Robert Cornthwaite(Dr.Carrington)& Douglas Spencer(Scotty) work together again in the sf comedy "Monkey Business" directed by Howard Hawks.
shareI think some of the other actors from "the Thing from Another World" can be spotted in "Monkey Business." I believe that Robert Nichols, who portrayed Lt. McPherson the navigator of Capt. Hendry's plane, is also in a brief scene in that Howard Hawks comedy.
One of the other scientists in "Monkey Business," the short man with the moustache, was seen as one of the French fur trappers in Mr. Hawk's excellent western film, "The Big Sky" with Kirk Douglas and Dewey Martin, who was also Bob, the very courageous and highly innovative flight sergeant in "The Thing from Another World."
