Creepy ending!
At first, I found the ending anti-climactic and disappointing, but the more I thought about it, the more chilling it became. Ryan's character is never apprehended-- he will likely do the same thing again at another woman's house. There is the sense that Lupino got very, very lucky and there is nothing comforting about that final shot of her.
