"Cherce" - Brooklynese for "choice"; prime, top quality, the best.

"Cherse" IS New York dialect for "choice."
It's a pronunciation, NOT a spelling.
The OY sound --
The same way Ed Norton says "kern" for "coin" on The Honeymooners
and Archie and Edith Bunker say "terlit" for "toilet" on All In The Family.

reply

"Not much meat on her, but what's there is cherce."
