Great film when you're high

Nah ... I wouldn't recommend it, guys. This film's a total scream by itself, whether you're breathing weed, oxygen or whatever. In fact, getting high watching this cult masterpiece can be downright dangerous !

Novelist Stephen King, a great Robot Monster fan, actually tried it himself one time. In his book Danse Macabre, he says he "Smoked some pretty good reefer" while watching TV's "Creature Feature" version. This was the result:

1. He lost it - started laughing so hard, he almost gave himself a hernia - and he couldn't stop.
2. He came within 20 minutes of laughing himself to death ! ("Another 20 minutes of watching Ro-Man twist those dials ...")


My humble advice would be: play it safe, folks. Watch Robot Monster the same way you'd drive a car - responsibly. (If you do get smashed, do it watching Plan 9 From Outer Space, or some other "safe" movie.)
