Megamind - homage to Robot Monster
As Robot Monster had one of the lamest villains in history, played by a man wearing a diving helmet and a gorilla suit, I haven't seen anyone anywhere else mention the obvious homage from the recent animated feature "Megamind". The "evil minion", Megamind's assistant, is a fish in a small fish bowl, perched on top of.... a gorilla suit.
Is there any other way this combination could have been thought up other than seeing this 1953 "classic"?
