I bought Titanic starring Barbara Stanwyk made in 1953.It last 93 minutes.
There is the same movie with her on the cover of the dvd but this lasts 97 minutes . Has one movie been edited.

They had to have done editing . . . on the DVD I have some scenes I remember from the film when shown on TV are not present . . . I'm not sure what they did, or what the original length was . . .

Not sure if these varying lengths have to do with PAL conversions that run shorter because they are slightly sped up, but the US VHS, Laserdisc, DVD and BD versions are all exactly the same as far as length and content.

No, there are scenes missing . . . I'm not sure what's going on . . .

What scenes are missing? I haven't noticed anything different.

Yes, after the confrontation with Richard, Mrs. Sturges leaves the room, we see her going down the hall, and then up the stairs, where she briefly stops . . . I've seen it when the film was shown on TV--years back, but not on the DVD . . . most unusual . . .
