Does it begin with the departure or in a house? Thanks

Titanic (1953) begins with Titanic stopped in the harbour at Cherbourg, France in a thick fog. Dialogue begins at a reciving station where "Bon Voyage" gifts are being sent to first class passengers from well-wishers.

I think A Night to Remember starts in a house or maybe on a train compartment.

Actually, A Night To Remember begins with the christening of the ship, which never actually happened.

Oops. You are absolutely right now that you mention it. The christening scene(which you are also correct about never happening) was even before the title and credits. Please excuse the lapse in memory. :-)
