Grace Kelly rarely had "age appropriate" co stars, including Bing (twice, I think), Juh-juh-juh-Jimmy Stewart, and Clark Gable. The Country Girl was on tonight, and Michael Feinstein on TCM said how Bing courted her, even getting Holden to not step in, but that Grace found the age gap too much. But I've heard the story that she had the hots for Gable, who was older than Bing, and that he actually had to take his teeth out and "gum" her so she'd not be attracted to her, Gable apparently recognizing he was too old for her.
