I was just coming to post that.

I turned to my husband and said "Did they just say what I think they said?" And then, yeah, I started laughing, too. It's like one of those times where you laugh inappropriately because you're nervous. It's so jarring to hear that word and they say it a LOT!

That reminds me of an insult they hurled at the James Brown character in "Dirty Dozen": "hey midnight, be a good boy & we'll let you eat with the white folks".
