I sincerely hope that the remake will include the original Dambusters Theme music. Nothing evokes the movie or the uplifting feeling of the deed itself as it does.
Every time I hear it I can see Gibby walking away to "write a few letters".

Paradise is exactly like where you are now, only much, much better.

When the Dam Busters march kicks in I get goosebumps, the hairs on my neck stand on end and i dare say a patriotic/manly tear forms in my right eye...Stiff upper lip, Chaps, stiff upper lip...

Jethro Tull used it in medely in a couple of their concerts.

"Dambusters March" was also played, briefly, as part of the London Olympics opening ceremony. I wonder how many viewers outside Britain recognized the theme? Here's one Californian who did, and appreciated the homage.
