Who would you cast in a White Christmas remake?

I'm guessing they'll remake this sometime soon. Who would you choose to portray Bob, Phil, Betty, Judy, Waverley & Emma?

No one. You could never find people with the talent of Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye amongst today's celebrities.

I would love to see Cyd Charisse play Vera Ellan character. I agree Bing and Danny irreplaceable.

Exactly right. When people remake films, especially classics, they usually go out of their way to demonstrate they have no idea what ingredients made the original so successful in the first place.

They also go out of their way to show us they have no originality and can't create anything on their own so they just recreate the past.

No one today has the talent of the old school people. The one cast change I am curious about that I have started a thread about would be Cyd Charisse as Vera Ellen character because Cyd was an amazing dancer. I think she would nail the Mandy number
