Clooney, Chakiris, Vera-Ellen all from The Queen City. Ok, I know Clooney hailed from just across the river but it's almost the same. Throw a little Norwood in there and I'll have to go to the Brass Rail Cafe and have a beer.

I knew Clooney was from the Cincinnati area having lived in south west Ohio for many years and seeing Nick Clooney on the news. But I didn't know Chakiris was from the area. When I realized he was in this movie as a dancer (several years ago) I nearly flipped as he was my favorite in West Side Story. Where in Cincinnati did he live?

Lots of talent has come from Cincy over the years.

Clooney's from Kentucky.

Yes, northern Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati. He used to run around the discos in the Queen City when he was young.

Rosemary museum in Augusta, KY. Nina, George's mother runs an antique store near there. Talked to her about the family for about 30 minutes. She is so nice and friendly.
