Gee, thanks for the stupid horsie...

I can't help but to laugh when I see the scene where Bob was given a carousel horse from Betty. He gives her a look like "Is this from you?" She nods yes, and he pulls her in to kiss him, but not before tossing the thoughtful gift into the tree. Wow! lol

Yeah, that's really hilarious. He makes a point of being completely cavalier. What's even funnier is you get the feeling Bing did that kind of thing all the time. "Thanks for the gifts kids...now where's my drink?"

Did you miss the early-in-the-movie conversation between Bing and Rosemary where she's telling him she wants a knight on shining armor on a white horse to sweep her off her feet? That gift meant something to her; it conveyed the message that she thought he was The One. He got the message, too. Sorry you didn't.

LOL, it's so funny how people miss major points in the plot line of a movie.

No, you're missing the part where Bob literally flings the horse into the tree. This was probably supposed to be off screen when Bob lowered his hand, but if you watch it, it's hilarious.

Every year during this scene, I crack my wife up when I do a pretty good New York Italian accent where Bob finds the foil wrapped gift with his name on it, and I say with the accent: "hey, a prosciutto with my name on it!" (then Bob unwraps the gift) "Whoa, that's no cured meat, it's a stupid horse! I'll just dump it in this here tree and kiss the blonde braciole.. Badabing...."

Another part that's supposed to be off screen is when Bob and Phil are changing in the dressing room, and Bing is seen in his tidy whiteys...

It is bad to drink Jobu's rum. Very bad.

I just watched this movie for the first time and of course I know the plot device of her and the knight on the white horse was mentioned but when he tossed it into the tree I thought my gosh he just tossed it aside as if it didn't mean anything but we all knew what it meant. He did too but the fact he tossed it like that made me laugh too.

I wondered if anyone else noticed that about the tidy whiteys. FIrst they show Phil changing behind some luggage but we don't see what he is wearing but then Bob is changing behind some luggage too and I saw he had on tidy whiteys and was quite surprised not because I thought his underwear was meant not to be seen but because I thought he would be a boxers type of guy lol. I pretty much thought most men in the 50s wore boxers.
