Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), one of the world's largest motion picture exhibitors is pleased to announce four Classic Holiday films will be presented in November and December in over 130 Cinemark, Century and Rave theatres across the country. These digitally restored movies will be scheduled to play Sundays at 2:00 pm and Wednesdays at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. In addition, more than 250 Cinemark theatres will present It's A Wonderful life for two shows on December 24th at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.



"Last year was the first time we brought back Holiday themed Classic Films and they were a big hit," states James Meredith, VP of Marketing & Communications for Cinemark. "This group of films is sure to get everyone into the spirit of the season with a laugh and a smile."



The four films include Elf, White Christmas, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and It's A Wonderful Life.

The 1946 classic starring Jimmy Stewart, "It's A Wonderful life" is the only holiday themed film to crack the 2007 American Film Institute's "100 Years…100 Films" list of the 100 Best American Films.


In addition, the song "WHITE CHRISTMAS" was selected as #5 in AFI's "100 Years...100 Songs" list of America's Greatest Movie Music in 2004, but from another film, "Holiday Inn", not from "White Christmas"....HA!
