Saw this for the first time last night, great Christmas movie.

Anyways, trying to match up some songs to scenes...what is the number with those female background dancers in purple dresses? I thought it might be the "choreography scene" some people discuss on here but when I enter than into Google none of the images or content reflects that.

SO what's the name of that segment? And who are those dancers?

I don't know who the dancers are, but the song is a satire on the Martha Graham type of "modern dance" gaining popularity onstage. I suspect Irving Berlin wasn't a fan, and preferred the old-time "hoofers" instead.
