Miss Kitty: Hottie or Nottie

Am I the only one that doesn't find Miss Kitty attractive? In fact, I think she resembles Endora from Bewitched.

Absolute hottie. At any stage of my life, if Amanda Blake was about my age, I'd have been smitten.

She was a looker in the first season or two, but then lost it really quickly. Most of the time she wasn't all that pretty... but, she was still attractive because of her personality. Miss Kitty (and Amanda Blake) was a badass. So, that makes up for a lot of looks. In fact, looks without personality aren't all that much.

When I watches Gunsmoke all my life, the local station always seemed to air the later color episodes. So I always saw Older Kitty. She wasnt ugly by any means, but wasn't anything really exceptional either. Started seeing the older episodes on Encore Western. Holy Cow! 1955 Kitty is a hottie! I'm not sure where the looks started to fade, but the early Kitty as stunning.

A big off topic, this is likely why I've always preferred Festus to Chester, I got used to him in the later episodes.

Amanda Blake was definitely hot. As for Agnes Moorehead, she was also very attractive when she was younger, and not bad for an old lady, either.

If you want to see Blake at her drop-dead-gorgeous best, at age twenty, check out "Stars in My Crown".

I THINK YOU JUST REFERENCED A PARIS HILTON FILM WITHIN A GUNSMOKE THREAD...THAT IS FIRST CLASS BIZARRE!

reply

Paris Hilton? If you're addressing me, I referred to Amanda Blake, Agnes Moorehead (the OP mentioned Endora of "Bewitched"), and the film "Stars in My Crown". No Paris Hilton in any of that.
