One problem with this show. The Highway Patrol...doesn't handle crimes off the road.
Last time I checked, the highway patrol does just that...enforces traffic laws...ie. the rules of the road. They handle traffic accidents...and speeding.
The highway patrol doesn't get involved with criminal investigations off the road. The highway patrol doesn't respond to bank robberies. If you report an intruder to 911, it's not the highway patrol that shows up. It's your county sheriff's department.
