i just noticed that today. when lumpy loses the scholarship ward decides to call fred and offer help. he says to the family "whats the number over there". i thought it was strange that these 2 guys worked down at the "salt mine" but i guess hardly ever called each other. i love freds response to wards advice.

I believe Fred always called Ward more then Ward called Fred so that would be why he wouldn't know their phone number by heart.

yes, i believe you are right. Fred did call ward, but when you have a son like "clarence" Fred would have a lot of bragging rights.

I remember one show where Ward saild I'm calling Fred right now and he went staight to the phone and started dialing.
