The Monster Sweatshirt
The biggest problem with the whole monster sweatshirt was his disobedience of his parents not that wore it to school. In the 1950s would wearing a shirt or sweatshirt have interrupted the class and would one have been sent told take off? If that wasn’t possible would they have been sent the principals office and sent home? That certainly would not have been the case at my middle or high school unless it basically been advertising for alcohol or something else that is/or was illegal for all or those under a certain age.
