Opening
As this movie begins we see scenes of outer space with the credits over it.They remind me of the beginning of The Day the Earth Stood Still where that film also had the credits over background scenes of outer space & the Earth.

shareI had the same thought. I suppose it's possible 20th Cent. Fox sold the footage to Columbia, but I doubt it, since Fox reused music and FX from that TDTESS in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Lost in Space in the 1960's.
shareOnly difference here is that this movie stunk and the Day the Earth Stood Still was one of the greats. The only thying decenbt about this movie was Ray Harryhausens magic.
I gave this junk a 2 rating and Day an 8. It still holds up today and that movie being from 1951 makes it more incredible!
