July 2nd Mini-Marathon / Hitch-Hiker comments
When watching "The Hitch-Hiker"--the part when Nan tries to call her mother--I recognized the voice of the woman on the phone as Eleanor Audley who played Barbara Harper's mother on My Three Sons.
One thing I've always found odd about this phone call is the fact that Nan asks to speak to Mrs. Adams, and states that Mrs. Adams is her mother. The woman on the phone then states that Mrs. Adams is upset because her daughter was just killed a few days ago. It's as though she doesn't even hear Nan indicate that she IS the daughter.
