My mother and I have been wondering about this, it's plain to see that Cornelia's big thick braid she wears at night when she's in bed is a fake...but I don't get why she has it to begin with since her hair's short all the day every day. you'll note that when she has it braided up at night it takes nothing off from the hair on her head she's worn all day, so it must be fake, but why?

Actually, that was Agnes' real hair. she wore her hair very tightly pinned to her head, giving it the appearance of being short. if you look at any publicity pictures of her from the fiftys, you will see she still has the same
hairstyle. she didn't cut her hair short until the late sixties.
so in "the Bat", she wears her hair pinned up during the day and braids it at night.
I can believe that after my experience last Halloween. This is a bit of a long story, I dressed up like the Joker, and I ordered a green wig but it was too small, so my mother had to pin up my hair very tightly and spray it green. And as I looked myself over that night it looked rather convincing to be that short naturally, BUT I keep my hair braided all day every day and night.
shareI was wondering why these two women would retain hair long enough to reach to their waists, yet never reveal it in public, only letting it down late at night in the privacy of their bedrooms. What would be the point of having long hair if it was never, ever to be seen?
