OK, she's just a head with no body. This means no lungs to force air over her vocal cords to speak. Come to think of it, does she have enough neck to even have vocal cords? Movie is totally unbelievable as a result of these huge gaffes.

share I wondered the same thing, but remember all the tubes going into her head and her boyfriend's "new serum." It's conceivable within the context of the movie, that oxygen is pumped into her bloodstream via a tube.....

Its not the oxygen she would need to speak its the breath from her lungs across the vocal cords.. as someone else said it did not look like enough of her neck left to contain the larynx which is deep in the throat.
