Kinda unsettling watching this.

Hard for me to get through this thing. Seeing her head constantly throughout the film made me feel unease, like in a Cronenberg kind of way. So I suppose that may give it some "artistic" merit perhaps. I also like the idea of how a man may desire to have the "head" and body of women interchanged. Here of course its more literal and not so figurative. Overall this movie was pretty awful. The scenes where the scientist seeks out women actually where more "watchable" for me. Thats my $0.02.

Whats unsettling also is whether the doctor was always a bit off, or only when she dies. And her not wanting to live, but him forcing her too.

Not wanting to live but being forced to....

Doesn't that exist today in the med profession?

reply

yeah, how about that.
That poor lady wanted to DIE... she got no respect at all. She did have a real malpractice case on her hands

reply

But...she had no hands.

The scenes where he is seeking out a woman do give relief to the talking head sequences. The strip joint and his kerb-crawling pieces are good sleaze.
