Possible 'Re-Animator' influence.

Anyone here thinks the makers of "Re-Animator" the 1985 cult shocker comedy got some of the movie's ideas from this?

Definitely! I was watching this and thinking that some of Re-Animators lines might have come right out of it? The part I caught was in the first scene, and they're arguing about bringing the heart or whatever back to life.

Re-animator is based of a short story writen by HP Lovecraft which was made long before this....if anything this film was inspired by that short story

I was thinking during the movie, that Re-Animator is just a remake of this classic! I have to say I enjoyed Re-Animator more. Just like the great Film Noir classic "Kiss Me Deadly" reminded my of "Repo-Man"! I love seeing the connections between the old and the "new" classics!
