Something I noticed last night - SPOILERS

Throughout the movie, Gidget's father kept trying to fix her up with a wealthy co-worker's(?) son, and always referred to him by his correct name, and every time she heard it, Gidget made it clear she wasn't interested. Meanwhile she meets, falls in love with, kisses, and sort-of breaks up with "Moondoggie," who always called her Gidget, only for him to be the guy her father approved of in the first place. I realized by their shared surprise that they both fell in love with each other not even knowing who the other officially was, nor did they ever bother to ask for their real names!

And so the Lion fell in Love with the Lamb...

With that kind of plot exposure you need to use spoiler tags. These boards give away so much that I won't read them if I haven't seen the movie.

I guess not! Moondoggie heard Kahuna mention Gidget's real name towards the beginning, but he didn't care to remember it yet.
