Hasn't aged well

AT ALL.

How so? At least the art direction is timeless.

I personally think Hercules and Emperor's New Groove haven't aged well.

Metallica + Iron Maiden + Black Sabbath + Judas Priest + Pantera + My Little Pony = LIFE

reply

Those are two of the best movies ever. I completely disagree with that statement. To each their own I guess.

My 3 year old daughter would beg to differ.

When a cold momma gets hot, boy how she sizzles!

reply

I'm sorry. I feel the same way sometimes when I look in the mirror with fluorescent lights. Did you smoke and use the tanning bed too often?

reply

I disagree. My almost three-year-old loves Sleeping Beauty. She likes Frozen and Tangled too, so for Sleeping Beauty to be up there with those two in her book, I'd say it is a timeless classic.

reply

These are all of my daughters favorites too

That is not true at all. Sure the story may be dated, but what about the animation? I think it is definitely one of Disney's most beautiful looking movies. Almost every frame of that film looks like a painting.

reply

I guess.

reply

How, exactly, does a fairy tale become dated? Really, I want to hear an answer. I bet it’s going to be a doozy.

I am completely fed up with sweeping, unsubstantiated statements.

reply

I think it's a gorgeous film with luscious animation and music. Good enough for a re-watch now and then!

Of course Aurora is THE most vapid Disney Princess ever and she's still more interesting than her Prince, but the movie isn't really about either of them anyway. She's just there to be fought over, the film is really about the Fairies vs. Maleficent, and they're actually pretty unique as Disney heroines.

wow, what a elaborate and nuanced comment. ever heard of elaborating a post, op?
