There was more than one character in Silent Running, acclarkefan2001. What about the other crew members who Bruce Dern stops from blowing up the pods? Still, there's only 4 or 5 characters, so it still applies.

I'd go for Sleuth, which only has Michael Caine and Lawrence Olivier in the cast.

The Raven, also with Vincent Price... there were *counts* I think 8 actors in the whole thing... 9, if you count the Raven.

*Jack*Pirate!

I like films that have a small cast. The viewer can concentrate more on the individual characters. 'The Birthday Party' (1968) has six characters which I would say is just about right.
