I made a Sega Genesis style cover of Bernard Hermann's "The Murder". I would love to know your thoughts on it.

Didn't you lose your account? You used to be ecarle before, right?

I made this cover using the Reaper DAW(digital audio workstation) and the Genny VST(which emulates sounds from old Sega Genesis games).

Yes. I'm flattered that you remembered this. I often bill myself as roger1/ecarle but I'm forgetting that now. Its been almost a year since I lost the ecarle account EXCEPT to come in on my cell phone as ecarle. Then I got a new cell phone and I lost ecarle forever.

This may sound silly, but the loss still hurts. Neither ecarle nor roger1 are spectacular name choices, but at lesst with ecarle I have YEARS of past posts and I'm still not used to being this other name. I feel like all my ecarle posts will not be remembered as being by the same guy. Ridiculous isn't it?

I'm still working on this problem. Ecarle may yet return!

That said, I'm not THAT old. At least in my mind. I have to stop presenting myself as such. The movies -- and talking about them -- keep me young.

Many male movie stars are in my age group and THEY don't present themselves as old -- of course they are rich and healthy and famous and often have young wives...

I also stumbled onto an ACTRESS of my age group -- her name is Dana Delaney and SHE still looks quite young and vibrant and sexy.

So..age is just a number (especially if you are a movie or TV star) and old dogs can learn new tricks.

To the OP: I like your version of the theme. It sounds as like it would been the theme if Psycho was made in the 1980's/late 1970's.

This has actually happened on some other accounts -- the "reset password" mechanism won't work for some reason..I'm told somebody already has the account.

That said, I really REALLY want to bring "ecarle" back. For both desktop and cell phone. There are too many ecarle posts going back "years." I've had this "roger1" monicker for about a year now.

I've also lost the ability to make changes to these posts from cell phone while travelling. So I've got some aggravating typos "locked in" until I can change them.

Where there's a will there's a way...I am working on this....
