I tried to like this film....
but there was nothing for the audience.
I'm sorry, but after watching this 'masterpiece',
the only thing I wish they had done was to shoot the organistand put him out of his misery and ours!
It depends on what you mean by "audience".
If you were the only person watching (=whole audience), perhaps indeed there was nothing in the movie for you.
Many people who watched the movie would disagree though. "I don't like the movie" is not the same as "the movie is stupid".
The organist was tedious though, I agree here ;-)

I am sure the movie is not stupid and I probably need to see it few more times to appreciate it. Amazing visuals but the whole thing left me cold.
