I thought it was really wild that he beat the crap out of those thugs that were sent to beat him up and put one in the hospital who thought he was going to die. TOUGH GUY!

But the lawyer was TOUGHER, he beat up Mitchum at the end of the movie after being drowned for some time HA HA, what a funny movie. MAJOR PLOT HOLES LIKE THAT JUST CANNOT BE RATED HIGH. It's not a good movie, but watching it isn't a total waste of time.

What's the major plot hole? Bowden faked being drowned so that Cady would let go of him and then cracked him over the head with a rock.
