I think this movie is great, the acting remarkable, etc... but does anybody else think Gregory Peck was particularly attractive in this role, even for Gregory Peck?

I watched this with my fiance last night and she said several times what a handsome man Peck was. I knew she felt that about him anyway, especially in "To Kill a Mockingbird." Surprisingly, she also said that about Mitchum, who I always thought was what I termed as a "palooka-type". But what do I know.
