It is coming on TCM on November 18, 2008!

It starts at 5:15 P.M. EST. Please double check your tv guide for the time in your area. Don't miss this one if you haven't seen it. It has two great movie stars that made lots of great westerns in Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea. This was Scott's last movie and it was a great one. Joel McCrea made a few more but none of them topped this one. This is one you will enjoy and the scenes and dialogue between Scott and McCrea is are outstanding.

An interesting story I once read was that while filming the producers and Scott and McCrea were eating at a local restaurant and they flipped a coin. Scott misunderstood and thought it was to see who paid for the dinner. It turned out that he won and that he was to be top billed between McCrea and him. But as he said it didn't matter who got top billing because both actors contributed equally and it was one that could have easily been reversed. This is one great movie with these two great stars and you are in for a treat if you have never seen it before.

Yes, great cast, am re-watching it now :) Am always partial though to Mariette Hartley whom I don't think I have ever seen in anything else which also is true for Ron Starr.... Edgar Buchanan is always great.

Watched it and having never recalled seeing it, was exceptionally pleased. One thing in particular I enjoy about many of the older movies is the pacing and editing is crisp and fluid and the dialogue develops and convey multiple aspects of a character. This was a beautifully shot film what a classic.
