The rumor is that Warners will release Ride the High Country sometime in late February or March 2006 along with the other Peckinpah westerns in the studio's catalogue in a box-set. They will include a special edition(hopefully a 2 disc version) of The Wild Bunch, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, and a new cut of Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Nick Redman and Paul Seydor, two members of the Peckinpah biographers, will over look the new cut of Pat Garrett. Keep your fingers crossed for the official word for the release and more details, zermah.
