The great Judy Garland
Remember seeing this movie on TV back when I was a kid in the 1970's. This was such an uncharacteristic performance from her; so vulnerable, so believable. I'm sure it was in some part a small favor to her friend, President Kennedy, whose sister was mentally impaired.
