Who is Louie?

In the scene where Rocky and Angie are having a date at Angie's place, what was the reference to Louie about? Rocky's trying to kiss Angie: "Come here, Louie - I got a new kind of experiment." The Zelda line when he's talking about her mixing drinks for him - that's about Zelda Fitzgerald, right? She's the only famous Zelda I know of. Thanks!

Earlier in the film Angie refers to their sexual encounter as an experiment and Rocky calls her Louis Pasteur. This scene refers back to that with a "new experiment"
