Amazon has it available as digital instant video

Just noticed yesterday that you can get this from Amazon for $9.99.

I guess they just decided to forgo the DVD.

Just saw this! (6 weeks later)

Too bad no DVD/Blu-ray (yet). Too bad the Amazon Instant Video isn't available as an HD movie (Standard Def only). Still nice to have it out there though. I wish I wouldn't have won the eBay bid on the burned copy on DVD for $34 or whatever 6 months ago.

"Love With the Proper Stranger" is included in a 2008 Region 2 boxed DVD set entitled "The Hollywood Collection - Steve McQueen, Man on the Edge." If you can play Region 2 discs, this might be a solution. New and used copies can be gotten pretty reasonably from Amazon.UK.
