Albert Finney's beauty

I was shocked when I saw this movie at Albert Finney's beauty when he was young. I had no idea he was so beautiful when he was younger.

Take a look at "Two For The Road" sometime. Audrey Hepburn couldn't resist him - onscreen OR offscreen. Finney was the real deal.

reply

Yes, he was a beauty alright! He and the young Richard Burton looked quite a bit alike I'd say.

He can still command the screen. His part in Amazing Grace is small but riveting. That's a wonderful movie that didn't seem to get the attention it deserved.

Besides his regular features, I think it was the twinkle in his eye that was so seductive. Come on, give us a kiss.

Ahem, I was paying more attention to Susannah York and Joan Greenwood, but, yes, I have to agree Finney was a remarkably handsome young man. Knowing him only from movies like Erin Brokovich and Big Fish, I was surprised to say the least.

This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

HAHA yeah he got pretty frumpy looking when he got older, but I was pretty surprised how attractive he was as a young man. Not drop dead gorgeus modely attractive, but certainly quite handsome. He always had more rounded features but I think he got bit more "rounded" when he got older but more around the tummy lol!

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

That's odd, I thought he looked exactly the same as he does in later films; he's just much younger in this movie. I saw Two for the Road with Audrey Hepburn and thought the same thing. His distinctive voice certainly hasn't changed.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
